I got one!!!

What do you all think? I'm impressed by the Club Nintendo distribution- it helps get more people aware of CN and gives the most loyal consumers rewards. :3

For the demo itself... I think they went with the perfect everything besides the looping track for the one stage.

Also, what's the difference of Alpha form of stages? Any idea?

I got it too. Pretty darn cool I must say, especially for a demo with only 5 characters and one stage. That's better than you get in most demos tbh.

Also, Alpha=Final Destination mode.

Of yeah, I knew that was Omega but couldn't think of the name. Alpha sounded kinda weird.
I'm really liking the small adjustments. Though Pikachu feels like he's weaker.

I wish Robin and Greninja were playable in the demo, I really wanna try them out.

This demo is good, though, still. Besides, the japanese had to wait until a few days before release, while we got it two weeks early.

I'm very grateful that we got it at all. And he probably picked the 5 most rounded characters, minus the Miis. Miis would have been almost like three characters.

So, how are we liking the newcomers? Villager plays better than I expected, and Mega Man is awesome. I am getting pretty annoyed at taking down 3 Lv. 9 CPUs on Battlefield. Almost unmanageable for me on Alpha/Omega/Ninty is Japanese not Greecian or Roman/Final Destination mode. I want to turn the items off on the regular version right now, makes dealing with 3 CPUs much easier.

Which NUHcomer Newcomer are you looking forward to play as the most, non leaked?

Also, Villager is OP, Link is better, Mega Man is okay ("10/10 It's Okay - IGN"), Mario is pretty good and I'm iffy with Pikachu since I can sometimes win with him but other times not so much.

I'd rank them as:

Mega Man is workng really well and consistently for me, I'm very impressed with his build. Mario is feeling a little stronger than in Brawl, and his FLUDD seems to have been improved(?). Villager is still a little confusing to me, though with the tree planted he gains the use of the ax which is powerful, along with bowling ball. Link is, well, Link. Nothing new and I personally don't use him often or very well. And Pikachu almost feels nerfed.

With my first Smash Bros. game on a handheld, I was doing better than ever with Villager which I'm still trying to get good with the controls. Once the game is out, I could aim on getting better.

I'm doing best with Link in this demo. I need to get used to Mega Man's A move.

I will slaughter all of you with my Link in 1-1 combat when the game launches.

Just played Local for the first time. Worked flawlessly!
Also, just throwing this out, but when Paused you can see through part of the bottom of the stage. Ew.

I'm also enjoying playing as Link. He's probably my favorite character to play as in the Demo, along with maybe Mega Man, although I'm not good at using Mega Man.

Clay - Again, at least you have that option. Brawl had like 30 degrees of tilt, this has like 160 degrees. Approximate numbers are very approximate.

@NUH I was tired when I typed that and accidentally typed Nuh for New, then realized my mistake and made it into joke form.

Anyway, once the game comes out, I think I'll try unlocking some characters first before doing online.
