So, I don't know what's causing this, but whenever I'm on 8BF from my PC, my mouse blinks on and off. Just thought I'd mention this.

I checked on a PC, have no issues with that. Unless its a recent issue?

It's been happening for a few weeks. I think it may be ads (which, I know we can do nothing about) because I can reload a page and it'll be fine for a while.

I posted in the poll that I would want to see a brighter theme for the reason that I wanted to see something new -- but in retrospect I think if I could do it again, I would say change either the theme or the banner (probably the latter, I quite like the theme ) just to show people visiting from time to time that we're alive and active in more ways than one.

I think we need a SSB theme next. I could see one with blue flame on one side, red on the other, and characters facing the middle.

Also, I'm going to try and add the :-? smiley again.

Would this work for a background? (Of course I would resize it)

That's kinda an actual flame, I meant more like the Smash Bros flame. But since flames are hard to find, it might work.

I love the newcomers and the flames! I think just the 8BF logo needs to be worked on a bit... maybe a different font and something like:

8
Bit
Forward

...going down the left side? I also think white(?) font with a blue outline/shading would look cool, the kind you have on your avatar actually NUH.

If I may make one suggestion as well, could you shrink/move the characters a bit? It's bugging me that part of Lucina's and Robin's head are cut off.

I tried the best I can right now, and I thought it'd take a bit. However, it only took an hour at most.

I really don't know what to do with the font. Maybe, try downloading and using this one, or finding something like it? http://www.1001fonts.com/invasion2000-font.html?text=8%20Bit%20Forward I dunno.

Also, what happened to the flame? It was fine in the first banner, imo.

For the characters, don't mess with the actual image of them. Just slightly move them down and cut their feet off from the FIRST banner. Not from the second. Don't move them far either, just so that their heads are completely in the banner.



OR, as another option, do the following:
Move the characters down a bit.
Put 8 Bit Forward across the top-ish. Kinda like~

These are just some ideas I'm throwing out.

I think we need a catchy slogan or something. Just a random idea. Something like "Loving the classics, but continuing to move forward." Or something like that   

Replaying the past, Hyping for what's to come? Hyping for the future?

That works well, or hyped instead of hyping.

"8 Bit Forward is the place to be for WiiU, 3DS, eShop and Retro Nintendo Reviews, Articles and an ever expanding Forum." Isn't catchy enough for you?

I'll also pitch an idea if I come up with one.

Fixed a bug where images would sometimes post at a larger size than the forum, causing it to stretch out and look terrible. If your image is made smaller, it will have a bit of text above it which will allow you to view it at its original size. A good example is in this post, where the images were resized.
I hope this allows everyone to view 8 Bit Forward more efficiently now.

Thanks for the additions! Keep up the good work, and also thanks for showing my post in the MK8 thread as an example.   

Maybe we could do a Halloween/Fall theme? Also, maybe a small "surprise" could happen to the forum on the week of Halloween?

I suggest that there should be an NX forum, speculation is always fun.
