|  Welcome to the Pokemon Nuzlocke Challenge!...Or, just "Nuzlocke" for short. It is a challenge that helps improve the game's difficulty. Let's get started, shall we? The most basic rules are: - If a Pokemon faints, it must be released or at the very least put in the PC Box. It is considered dead at that point. - You may only catch the first Pokemon in any area. If you miss it, there are no second chances. In Generation 5, in dark grass, if you encounter two Pokemon, you may choose which one you want. - While not exactly a definite rule, the general consensus is that you must also nickname all of your Pokémon, for the sake of forming stronger emotional bonds. - Also not a definite rule, but the general consensus is that a black out/white out is considered to be "game over", even if there are Pokémon left in the PC. - You cannot use Traded Pokemon, Mystery Gift Pokemon, etc. However, Gift Pokemon can be used. - You cannot reset and reload the game whenever something goes wrong. | Meh. So, since this is dead, normally I'd avoid it. However, since it's apparently okay, I'll start my challenge. - Makin' Progress:
So, this story is about a young boy who wanted to be the very best, like no one ever was- Random character: "Hey, isn't that Ash-" *Gunshot* So anyways, let's begin, shall we?
Progress so far:
- Had a choice between Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle
- Chose Lloid the Charmander
- Had a battle with Rival Blue, who had a Squirtle
- Delivered the Parcel to Oak
- Obtained the Pokedex
- Caught Bird Jesus the Pidgey
Now it may not look like much, but soon, it might get a bit exciting. | |

| Bird Jesus? Do I sense a reference to Youtuber GlitchXCity? :3 I started an Omega Ruby Nuzlocke a couple days ago and have made pretty much no progress... maybe this will be some encouragement? - The Adventure So Far...:
- After fighting May's Mudkip with a Treecko, I received it and promptly named it Kotreek.
- Caught "Totempole" the Zigzagoon (too long of a story to explain >____>)
- Caught "Aaron" the Wurmple
- Helped out Wally
- Caught another Wurmple, forgot to name but won't be using anyway
- Began level grinding and preparing to enter Petalburg Woods
Team:
- "Kotreek" -- Treecko, Level 9
- "Totempole" -- Zigzagoon, Level 9
- "Aaron" -- Wurmple, Level 5
- Nameless Wurmple... Level 3

| Alright, progress. - I succeeded...but at what cost?:
The boy started out in a town called Pallet. From there, he woke up and- "Alright old man, cut the squat - we came here to hear progress." Alright, whatever... Progress so far: - Met the Old Man in Viridian City - Caught Shayla the Rattata on Route 2 - Caught Stinger the Weedle in Viridian Forest - Stinger the Weedle dies (TO A CATERPIE. WTF!?) - Backtracked to Route 22, caught a Mankey, who I named Kong - Battled and defeated Rival Blue, who had a Pidgey and a Squirtle - Backtracked to Viridian Forest - Headed North to Pewter City - Battled Gym Leader Brock - Kong the Mankey, Shayla the Rattata and Bird Jesus the Pidgey are dead - Obtained the Boulder Badge - Obtained the Running Shoes Team:  - Lloid the Charmander, Level 13 Death Total: 004
Big update here, although not anything too special. | |

| Alright, I have a bit to share for my ongoing Omega Ruby Nuzlocke for anyone interested. - Into Petalburg Woods! Encounter: Team Magma! Rustboro City!:
- Finished some level grinding before entering Petalburg Woods. Aaron (Wurmple) eventually evolved into a Cascoon. A bit disappointing since I was hoping for a Beautifly, but alright regardless.
- Found and caught a Shroomish as soon as I entered Petalburg Woods -- named it "Mishroom." Really convenient, Shroomish is a great Pokemon to have during RSE playthroughs. Level grinded
with it for a while.
- While working my way through Petalburg Woods, I bumped into a researcher for the Devon company.
- He turned out to be running away from a Team Magma grunt... and I was forced to protect him. Mishroom dispatched the Poochyena with a Leech Seed - Absorb combo.
- I suppose it was worth it to protect this guy since he gave me an EXP Share afterwards.
- Made it through the rest of the trainers in Petalburg Woods to get to the upper portion of Route 104. Battled through the route's trainers with Aaron evolving along the way! (Now Dustox~)
- Went through Rustboro City. Nice music as always.
- Picked up HM Cut from... Cutter.
- To the right of Rustboro is Route 116. Encountered and caught Nincada. ("Caddy.")
- Battled through Route 116 trainers currently available and grinded for a while as well.
- Ended up with "Kotreek" evolving into a Grovyle. That nameless Wurmple from before has been lurking at the back of my party and eventually, from EXP Share benefits, evolved all the way into a Beautifly... .____."
- Battled through the gym trainers in Rustboro's gym.
Team
- Kotreek -- Grovyle, Level 16
- Mishroom -- Shroomish, Level 14
- Totempole -- Zigzagoon, Level 14
- Aaron -- Dustox, Level 13
- Nameless Beautifly, Level 11
- Caddy -- Nincada, Level 9
