"Announcement: Originally, the pic of the day was only supposed to continue for about two months, but I've ended up posting pictures until even today. The 3DS version has already been released in Japan, so I would like to talk about how future posts will be handled.

First, I will not talk about hidden features until the game is released overseas. On the other hand, I definitely will talk about them after the game is released abroad.

In addition, I am planning to continue making posts at least until the Wii U version is released. I haven't decided if I'll go by the Japanese version release or the release of versions abroad, but the point is that I'll continue posting for a little bit longer.

Pic of the day won't focus on introducing new information anymore in the near future, but I hope to entertain you with interesting and funny photos like I originally intended to. Thanks."

At least some old stages are coming back. Which I've never played.

I cannot believe launch is so close. Feels like there should still be a year to go.

It still amazes me how popular Xenoblade was with its limited release.

Only one day and two hours left until the game is officially released here.

On Friday I'm doing one last Brawl with the cut characters for old times sake. Then, my time with Smash 3DS will officially begin.

Just a site update.

Its currently rumored that Link has a slightly longer Grab in Smash, a problem I ran into online was that I would grapple, and the claws of the clawshot would touch, but not grab and leave me wide open. The update is supposed to actually grab my enemies and I am all for this. And considering how I never used the bomb landing lag cancelation trick, I don't care that its been dropped.

I'm most excited about the Greninja down cancel technique being removed, along with the Bowserside nerf.
Also, I don't think Shulk needed the buff, to be honest.

Prof. Clayton, if you read this. Maybe we can organize another Super Smash Bros tournament, but for Wii U. What do you think of that?

I'm thinking of doing that, but maybe in January. Simply because if we wait there will be a good amount of new people who get a Wii U over the holidays and can then join in.

I can't wait for the Mewtwo DLC. Been practicing him in Melee and Project M, really hope he's buffed from his Melee counterpart. Also, anyone else see some other character coming along with Mewtwo?

Just a random question - what characters do you guys think are cheap, annoying or just what characters do you hate/dislike? I hear people say that Diddy Kong is cheap, but I want your opinions.

I think Lucario is cheap. I get the whole "gets more powerful with more damage" mechanic, but he gets waaaay too powerful. Plus, even at like 80% and up, his launch becomes insane. I think he should be somewhat nerfed, at least.

Also, I find a good Ness to be annoying, but not OP or anything.

I think Ness's side air needs a bit more lag, Lucario needs less Aura launch, Diddy needs a tiny bit less height on his up air, and counter should last a fraction shorter than it does. Those are the only changes I can think would balance the game more, at least right now. None of these are really OP, but stand out a bit too much.

So, who'd everyone vote for in the Smash Ballot?

While I had many ideas on my list, including Magnus, Shovel Knight, Ghirahim, Viridi, and Inkling, among others, the character that won my vote was Wonder Red.

I voted for Snake.
