Super Smash Bros. for 3DS Demo Challenge [Won by Dash]

In this next 8 Bit Forward Challenge, you are tasked with accumulating as many KOs as you can in one 2 Minute Match in the Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS Demo.

Beyond this simple statement, the rules are open to anything you can think of: from changing the stage's forms to which characters to use and the CPU'S strength, everything can be adjusted.

This competition will run until October 2nd, the day before Super Smash Bros. releases. Best of luck to everyone!

Highest I've gotten so far is 5.

I'm only up to 5 myself, though I haven't gone exclusively after KOs yet.

Should be fun though since everyone can get the demo~

Yeah. Keep in mind, I did this on 9 (as I'm sure you did, too), but as soon as I come upon the fortune of getting a Baseball Bat or Ogre Club, I will undoubtably double that (because I'll turn it down to 1, because, I'm a wimp).

I feel like it will take a good collection of items in order to get a good number... but then again just going for KO's might be faster.

And yup, did that on 9 as well.

I would have done this on Omega/Alpha/Final Destination version, but now that I know I can use items

That's where the challenge comes in... maybe using the Final Destination would be faster to focus on KO's?

I got up to 7 KOs in one match... but I didn't get very many items.

Clay - Maybe, but you can't use items in Omega version of stages. And in a 2 minute match, items are really your best bet.

I got 7 KOs finally~
I had a really great run, got a baseball bat... but then got caught by a beetle.

24 KOs in one 2-minute match.

I can provide proof if required.

Dash, can you provide proof? I don't doubt you, I just want to see this.

Like, literally, 24 KO's? Holy ****.

I assume to get 24 you'd have to get a pretty lucky run of items~ The best I managed so far is 9, in which I got a smash ball and a hammer which did most of the work. I only have a few goes left on my demo, so I doubt I'll be able to get anywhere near 24.

Actually, I think I got almost all if not all of those KOs with just one item I got near the start of the match. I'll let you figure out which item I'm talking about, though~

I'm guessing an Ogre Club / Baseball Bat?

I got 13 in one match. Though I had the baseball bat for approx 20 seconds because the match ended.

I was really excited... but 24?! O____O

Also, nobody should quit because second and third and fourth all give more points than giving no score at all. U__U

I've never seen a baseball bat in my entire time playing the demo. o_o Is that unusual?

And I thought Dash got those on 9.0

Did I never end this? Oops.
