Super Smash Bros for Nintendo 3DS & Wii U Challenge: Home Run Contest High Score

In this 8 Bit Challenge League contest, users can compete to score the highest score possible in the Home Run Contest mode of Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS & Wii U. Since both versions are identical, or nearly so, neither console or game should prove to be more advantageous than the other.

As such, anyone may enter with one character (sorry fans of two player Home Run Contest on Wii U), of their choice, and post your score below to enter.

I only have 4100 or so feet with Ganondorf.
Also, everyone should enter a score even if they're not going to win- you still get points.

I'm stumped at about 3,100 ft. with Ganondorf. I haven't tried it with anyone else but spent a good half hour getting that score.

I'm a few days late but hit 4600 today with Ganondorf... darn.

To reveal my secret, I watched a GameXplain video showing how to get 4600FT as Ganondorf w/o using the home run bat. I couldn't do it properly, so I got 4500 instead. Not surprised you now have me beaten Clay, it wasn't a matter of if, it was a matter of when, before or after this contest ended.
