A really colorful gameColor Zen is a new type of puzzle game made by Crypronia. It was released on the Wii U eShop on May 15th, 2014. Like the case with Color Zen Kids, it was originally on the App Store, but was ported to the 3DS and Wii U eShops later on. It is a great game for those who are into puzzle games or at a young age. It has color-themed puzzles, and many vibrant and bizzare color puzzles at that. I could go on about the history of Color Zen and other info about it for hours, but I have to draw the line somewhere. So let's move onto the important parts.
As explained from my Color Zen Kids Wii U review
here, it is a new type of puzzle game that invites you to relax and immerse yourself. That is the case here. I also mentioned that it was a relaxing game where there is no points or pentalties for failure, just a world of colors to move through at your own pace. That is the case here as well. However, although gameplay is nearly the same, some gameplay features have extended time added, or even different difficulty levels.
Also explained in my Color Zen Kids review, it's controls revolve around using the touch screen. You move shapes with the touch screen, and you press menu buttons with the gamepad. And for length, like Color Zen Kids, is only a few hours long. It can be fun, but even then it is still short.
Conclusion
Color Zen is a great game, and I will admit it. Although it isn't a game that everyone would enjoy, it's still a great puzzler for those who love Puzzle Games. Not a bad game, not at all, but it's not everyone's game.
