Mario Kart 8

Coming out soon (May 30th, I think?) is Mario Kart 8! And it looks freakin' beautiful   I can't wait to race online and play in glorious HD with amazing soundtracks! There's also the Koopalings to play as, if you're into that. Who else can't wait for this game which has integrated the Mobius strip into one of its courses?

It has offscreen play... I'm sold.

I certainly can't wait!  

What game will you all be picking up for free?
I already own 3/4 of the American options... looks like its Wii Party U for me! 

Probably Pikmin 3. I have Wind Waker HD and NSMBU, and no one would ever play Wii Party U with me, so I guess it's Pikmin 3 for me, even though idk if I'll play it.

What do you all think of the new battle mode? As in, The laziest part of the whole game.
I actually will mind, but its fairly small, it'll be fun still just... different.  

I'll be getting WWHD. I want WWHD more than the others, and I already own NSMBU, so yeah. As for the actual MK8 discussion...I'm actually more excited for this than I have been for a Mario game in general in awhile! I'll be glad to have another game to add to my collection.

Same, except I probably won't be able to play until July due to money reasons. -.-

Baby Characters are kinda pointless, except I love Luigi, and in MKWii his lightweight was perfect for me. So he was my best option.

Seriously. There are now not just one, not two, but THREE Marios, and THREE Peaches. Granted, they're not clones, but they're the SAME CHARACTER. It's like removing all the character models for Smash, and replacing them with different colors of Marth, but they still weigh differently, deal different amounts of damage, etc.

Anyway, I just got an email saying my copy has shipped, but I still don't know when I'll get it. Tomorrow, I'll use the truck's tracking information to see where it is.

Yeah, I'll admit most of the characters are wastes of space. But the Mercades Car DLC indicates that we might be getting more DLC in the future. So we might get older characters or even new characters. :3

Wonder what the Mercades will look like in mid-air. Also unrelated but N64 Toad's Turnpike remastered in HD looks amazing.
